smartphones with 4k video recording

Best 4K Video supporting Smartphones in India (2017 edition)

4K recording has been there for a while in the DSLR camera but few mobile brands have launched their models with the same feature. 4K basically means as “4000” which refers to the total number of pixels a footage will have. It is also sometimes called Ultra HD and the device with 10 megapixels or above and a powerful processor can shoot a video in this format.

I wrote a post about the best Mobiles with 13MP camera and could only find just 5 phablets for that list solely because of battery consumption, higher the camera resolution more battery it will consume.

Therefore, all the named phablets will eventually have these features:

  • A fast CPU
  • Great primary & selfie camera resolution
  • Priced around and less than Rs. 15,000
  • 4G VoLTE enabled

In the sense of lower to higher video format in terms of quality 4k mobile phone camera is considered as the best in the world after full-HD.

Here are the footage samples.

4. InFocus Epic 1

Yet another phone that drives Deca-core processor which only aims to provide a better video shooting experience (as mentioned above 4k footage requires a tough and a fast CPU).

It allows user to shoot video with 3840 by 2160 @ 30 fps.

There won’t be any issue with the number of consecutive usage hours because of 3000mAh battery which is sufficient enough to last for 1.5 days with moderate to heavy usage.

Worth noting that it comes with fast charge as well. Do check out my Review of InFocus Epic 1
