Intex Aqua 5.1+ | 4G VoLTE, front flash but has a lower RAM

Intex has finally revealed their latest Smartphone in the Aqua series called 5.1 +. It is the successor to the Aqua 5.1 which was released last year in Aug. This one though went live in India on March 03, 2017 for a price of INR 5,490 and available on all retail outlets across India and will compete with Swipe Elite 3.

Intex Aqua 5.1+ Features and review

The device sports a 5-inch FWVGA, 4G VoLTE and front flash. We have 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage which can be expand up to 64GB using a microSD card.

On the optics side, this mobile features a 5 megapixel primary and 2 MP front, both with LED flash. It runs the Marshmallow v6.0 and is powered by 2,000mAh battery which will offer users a talk time of up to 05 hours and stand by time of 250 hours.

It is powered by 1.3GHz Quad-core processor.

Its main rival, Swipe Elite 3 is also priced at around Rs. 5,500, it flaunts a 5 inches HD display and a better camera resolution and a higher RAM of 2 GB.

Coming back to 5.1 Plus, we also have some Value Added Services (VAS) like QR Code reader scan, GamePlay, MiFon and many other.

It’s a decent mobile with all the basic specifications checked. Buy this for its LED flash on the selfie camera and Voice over LTE support. Due to a lower RAM and not so powerful battery, it is most suitable for internet browsing, staying in touch with your pals via social media such as Facebook, Whatsapp, etc.
