Indian Smartphone company has launched a budgeted phablet in the Aqua series called Prime 4G, It’s a selfie shooter centric and first phone by Intex that has an LED flash on the front sensor. It is priced at INR 6,540 and went official in India on March 30th.
After the most successful launch of Xiaomi Redmi 4A which has sold more than 4 million units nation-wide in just under a week one has to say that Prime 4G is over-priced.
Redmi 4A is priced at just Rs. 5,999 and has set the benchmark right there. It is widely known as the killer budget Smartphone by many.
But as the present scenario, it’s not easy to purchase one because of the shortage of the unites being sold by Xiaomi.

Intex Aqua Prime 4G will sport a 5.5-inch HD IPS display offering 720 by 1280 pixels and 267 ppi. It will weigh 158 grams and will be available in three color variants Grey, White and Champagne.
The 4G VoLTE powered Prime will run on Android v6.0 Marshmallow with dual SIM slots.
Driving the Prime we have a MediaTek MT6735P chipset with 32 bit quad-core processor clocks at 1 GHz and the graphics are handled by a Mali 720 MP2. Both are paired with a 1-gig of RAM.
There is an 8 GB of internal memory which can further be extended up to 32GB using a microSD card. Out of the 8GB, users will get 3.37GB as usable.
Coming on the camera end which the device is purely focusing on, it is seen with an 8 MP rear-facing snapper with bunch of features and modes such as f2.2 aperture, Dual LED flash, 3264 by 2448 pixels resolution, HDR, digital zoom, auto focus.
The 2 megapixel front shooter will boast an LED flash and fixed focus.
Keeping the alive is a Li-Polymer 2800mAh battery cell that will give us a talk time of up to 11 hours on 2G network and stand by time of up to 500 hours on the same connectivity.
Other specifications includes FM radio, 3.5 mm jack, loudspeaker, Hotspot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS.
