Indian Smartphone giant supplier has launched an entry-level Smartphone. The phone is priced at just INR3,499 and comes enabled with VoLTE and 4G. There were rumors doing the round since last month that the company might release a budgeted segment Smartphone sooner and the wait is over. It went official on March 4th.
Bharat is a fresh series that Micromax has launched and is likely to be pocket friendly one. Unlike their other newly released series called Dual which last week launched the Dual 5 for Rs. 25,000, the first ever device by them in the sub Rs. 30,000 range which has also received an amazing response from the experts all around the world.
Coming back the Bharat 2, it sports a small 4-inches of TFT display which exhibits a standard screen resolution of 480 by 800 pixels with a spectacular ppi of 233 which makes it a rare gadget with such a high pixel per inch density.
Under its hood, we have a 4G Voice over LTE technology, dual SIM slots and 512 MB RAM.
Li-ion 1300mAh battery will keep the mobile alive for a longer than expected time period.
The 1.3 GHz quad-core processor is paired with Mali-400 MP2 as GPU. The Spreadtrum SC9832A is the CPU chip set inside.
On the storage front the Bharat 2 offers 4 GB of internal and 32 GB of expandable option.
Due to its price range we have an average cameras on both sides. The 2 MP primary sensor has an LED flash and a digital zoom and on the front-end there is a 0.3 MP selfie shooter.
Other features include an FM radio, Loudspeaker, 3.5 mm jack, Accelerometer sensor and on the networkinf side it is seen with GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi hotspot, etc.
At the offering price we have a decent looking Smartphone with above average performance.
Micromax has said that it is targeted to the first time touch screen based mobile users, elderly and of course those with lesser money in pocket.

It will be available on all the brick-and-mortar retail outlets across India and no words have been given so far by the firm of its online presence.
